 Simon the ApostleSimon the Apostle was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He received the authority to cast out unclean spirits and to heal every kind of ailment and disease (Matthew 10:1-4). The name Simon means "God has heard." Simon was also known as Simon the Zealot.
