Proof that Jesus is a true prophet

Jesus gave more than 50 predictive prophecies during his public ministry, from about late AD 26 to early AD 30, which is about 2,000 years ago. Here is a list of 50 prophecies that he gave, all of which are described in more detail in the new book Jesus the Prophet, by Ray Konig, which is available on amazon.com
- At the beginning of his ministry, Jesus predicted that his followers would see amazing things, which they did as he later performed miracles on 50 separate occasions (John 1:47-51).
- Jesus revealed that a royal official's son would recover from deadly illness, which he did (John 4:43-54).
- Jesus prophesied that John the Baptist would be the final pre-Messiah prophet, which continues to be true 2,000 years later (Matthew 11:13).
- Jesus foretold that he would be the one to fulfill the Old Testament prophecies and he remains today the only person to ever achieve or sustain a widespread following as the Messiah (Matthew 5:17).
- Jesus foretold that he would be hated without cause, which was a serious offense in 1st-Century Israel, and he was later put to death by the Romans although he committed no crimes (John 15:23-25).
- Jesus foretold that he would be rejected, and he was soundly rejected, to the point of being put to death (Luke 17:20-25).
- Jesus successfully predicted his own death and resurrection, which are the two events that launched the worldwide spread of Christianity (Matthew 20:17-19, etc).
- Jesus foretold the significance of his death, that his death would pay for the sins of others (Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45).
- Jesus predicted that he would ascend into heaven, which he did, in about AD 30 (John 20:17).
- Jesus predicted that he would have a worldwide spiritual impact, and he has, through the worldwide spread of Christianity (Luke 24:44-47).
- Jesus accurately predicted that Judas Iscariot would betray him (Matthew 26:20-25, Mark 14:17-21, Luke 22:21-23, John 13:18-30).
- Jesus accurately revealed that his apostles would temporarily abandon him (Matthew 26:31, Mark 14:27).
- Jesus accurately predicted that Peter would temporarily disown him (Matthew 26:33-35, Mark 14:29-31, Luke 22:31-34, John 13:37-38).
- Jesus predicted that he would be resurrected and meet his apostles in Galilee, which he later did (Matthew 26:32, Mark 14:28).
- Jesus foretold a miraculous catch of fish for his disciples who were fishermen in the Sea of Galilee (John 21:6).
- Jesus foretold that the Apostles would be hated and persecuted for preaching the Gospel (Matthew 10:16-22).
- Jesus forewarns his Apostles that others would seek to kill them (John 16:1-4).
- Jesus accurately predicted that some disciples would be put to death (Luke 21:12-19).
- Jesus revealed the nature of Peter's death, indicating that he would be crucified, which he was in about AD 64 (John 21:18-19).
- Jesus foretold that his evangelists would reach the uttermost parts of the world, which they did (Acts 1:8).
- Jesus revealed that Jerusalem would stop being the center of worship, which began to come true about 2,000 years ago (John 4:19-21).
- Jesus revealed that Jerusalem would be the site of his execution (Luke 13:31-33).
- Jesus predicted that Jerusalem would become desolate (Matthew 23:37-39, Luke 13:34-35).
- Jesus predicted the destruction of Jerusalem, which found fulfillment through the Romans in AD 70 (Luke 19:41-44).
- Jesus revealed that the Temple would be utterly destroyed, which it was in AD 70 (Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, Luke 21:5-6).
- Jesus predicted a sign to flee Jerusalem, which saved many of his followers (Luke 21:20-22).
- Jesus foretold about suffering during the destruction of Jerusalem, which was fulfilled during the First Jewish-Roman War (AD 66-73) (Luke 23:26-30).
- Jesus revealed that the Jews would be exiled and scattered throughout the nations of the world, which they were, starting after the First Jewish-Roman War (Luke 21:24a).
- Jesus predicted that Jerusalem would be trampled upon by Gentiles, which it has been since AD 70 (Luke 21:24b).
- Jesus revealed that Jerusalem would be the starting point for a worldwide spiritual impact, which it has been, with the spread of Christianity (Luke 24:46-47).
- Jesus revealed a transformative change in how God is worshipped, which has been true for the past 2,000 years for Christianity and Judaism (John 4:19-26).
- Jesus foretold that he is the Messiah and that he is announcing the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:16-30).
- Jesus foretold that Gentiles also would enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 8:11).
- Jesus revealed that people would be drawn to him after his death (John 12:31-33).
- Jesus foretold that all who believe in him will have eternal life (John 3:16).
- Jesus predicted that he will build a church that will prevail against any and all opposition (Matthew 16:18).
- Jesus predicted that the woman who anointed him would be remembered throughout the world (Matthew 26:12-13, Mark 14:8-9).
- Jesus accurately foretold that 'Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away' (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33).
- Jesus foretold about the impact that his death would have (John 12:23-24).
- Jesus prophetically spoke of the worldwide spread of Christianity (Matthew 13:36-43).
- Jesus predicted that he will return for Judgment Day and reign over God's eternal kingdom (Matthew 26:64, Mark 14:62).
- Jesus predicted that he will be the judge for Judgment Day (John 5:22-30).
- Jesus predicted that he will be the one who resurrects the dead on Judgment Day (John 11:25).
- Jesus predicted that believers will be given eternal life in the Kingdom of God (John 6:39-40).
- Jesus foretold about the kind of people who will enter the Kingdom of God (Matthew, chapters 5-7).
- Jesus foretold that no one would know the hour or the day of his return (Matthew 24:36, Mark 13:32).
- The return of Jesus will be witnessed by everyone in every place (Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27).
- Jesus foretold details about Judgment Day, that believers and nonbelievers will be separated like sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46).
- Jesus foretold that there will be false prophets and false messiahs (Matthew 24:23-27).
- Jesus foretold that the Gospel would be preached throughout the world before the end comes (Matthew 24:14).
Jesus is unique among all the prophets in history, for the number and variety of his prophecies, and for the fact that we have overwhelming evidence of their fulfillment.
